Organization

ANTIC is a Public Administrative Establishment with legal personality and financial autonomy. It is placed under the technical supervision of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications and the financial supervision of the Ministry of Finance.

Following the promulgation of law N° 2010/012 of December 21, 2010 relating to cyber security and cyber criminality and law N° 2010/013 of 21 December 2010 governing electronic communications in Cameroon, ANTIC has been assigned like other mission to regulate activities of electronic certification and regulation of the Internet in Cameroon.

Missions

• Promotion of ICT
• Regulation of activities of electronic certification:

              - Security audit;
              - Security Intelligence;
              - Electronic certification;

• Regulation of the Internet;
• Management of the .cm.

Objectives

-Facilitate and accelerate the development, deployment and the harmonized exploitation of ICTs in Cameroon.

-Contribute to the development of Cameroon by the use of ICTs in all safety.
