The eighth edition of the National Internet Governance Forum (IGF-CM 2020), shall take place, 17-19 June 2020 in Douala under the theme Data Governance.

Discussions at the forum shall be guided by the following sub theme:

• Collection and use of data;
• Legal and ethical framework;
• Data security and cybersecurity;
• Emerging technologies for economic development;
• Emerging technologies: case of Cameroon

Resolutions adopted at the forum shall constitute Cameroon’s stance on Internet governance during deliberations at the next Sub-Regional and Regional forums on Internet Governance later this year.
